Scorpions and Escalades
I read on Jokes.com the other day "If you buy a Hybrid Escalade , you are not an environmentalist." This made me think about the Green Pest Control Products I saw at Home Depot, these type of products are also offered by a few companies. Just because you use "Green Products" to kill insects it doesn't make you an environmentalist, either. It makes you some one who is going to have more insects and Scorpions than someone who uses a responsible company who safely uses new generation conventional products according to the Label.

Local company = Value & Expert service
Recently we gave a customer an estimate on a Termite treatment for his home. Our price was fair and competitive, based upon footage, treatment issues, and comparison to many other similar homes we had treated. The customer liked our proposal and signed up for the treatment. A few days before the scheduled treatment date he called because he'd gotten another estimate from a National Company. He was concerned because our estimate was 100's $ less? He wanted to know what had we missed?
We explained that we hadn't missed anything. Our treatment with Termidor, with 5 year warranty, and Free annual inspections was actually a much better value. Plus our termite team has years of experience, and we'd put their work up against any other crew in the state.
So a large national company with built in advertising costs, commissioned salesmen, fancy in-home presentations, glossy printed material, and built-in annual fees is usually much more expensive the the local company with great on-line reviews.
